Welcome to the 12th Advanced Course on Knee Surgery
Val d’Isère | January 24–28, 2027
Welcome to the 12th Advanced Course on Knee Surgery , taking place from January 24 to 28, 2027, in Val d’Isère, in the heart of the French Alps.
Over the years, this course has established itself as a key international meeting in knee surgery, built on three strong pillars that define its identity and success.
The first pillar is an outstanding faculty, bringing together internationally recognized experts, opinion leaders, and reference surgeons in their respective fields.
The second pillar is a strongly clinical, practice-oriented scientific program, with this year’s central theme:
“Challenges and Complex Cases in Knee Surgery.”
This edition will be built around case-based presentations, serving as the core format of the sessions. Real-life complex cases will be presented by experts and discussed in depth, encouraging interactive debate, critical thinking, and audience participation. Particular emphasis will be placed on decision-making, technical pitfalls, surgical strategies and techniques, and how to manage challenging or borderline situations in daily practice.
The program will focus on six major areas:
• Meniscus
• Fractures in Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) and Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty (UKA)
• Difficult Primary Knee Arthroplasty
• Extensor Mechanism and Patellofemoral Disorders
• Posteromedial and Posterolateral Corner
• ACL Reconstruction
The third pillar is the venue. Val d’Isère is more than a world-famous ski resort; it is a truly unique alpine setting, offering an inspiring environment that encourages scientific interaction, collegiality, and high-quality exchanges in a warm and dynamic atmosphere.
Do not miss this unique event, held only once every two years, and join us for an exceptional edition dedicated to excellence, discussion, and advanced knee surgery.
We look forward to welcoming you to Val d’Isère.
